Inductance Meter

There have now been several posts on my inductance meter project so I thought this might be good to have an overview over the various posts including the download files.

I’d like to thank dangerousprototoypes.com, electronics-lab.com and others who helped to make this project quite popular around the web. I appreciate it.

  1. Hi

I’m interested in your LCR meter and was going to order a few boards, however I’m having problem creating the gerber files via Eagle
Is there any chance you have them or could export them
Happy to send you a couple of boards in return

    regards

    1. Hi Andy
Thanks for your interest in this project. I’ll be happy to export them for you. I just got back from a holiday so give me a day or two..
      cheers

  2. YOU’RE A GOD. I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR AN INDUCTANCE METER EVERYWHERE. I CAN’T LOCATE THE PARTS, BUT AT LEAST IT IS A “L” METER. NOTHING THAT CAN DO 2 THINGS CAN DO EITHER AS WELL AS A THING THAT IS DEDICATED TO IT’S FUNCTION. WHERE CAN I BUY ONE OF THESE? EASILY WORTH A HUNDRED BUCKS.

    1. Hi Sean

Some nice guy took my design, got some boards professionally produced and sent me some. I still have some here and can build one for you. It’s likely that I still have all the components. Just write me a mail to admin [at] soldernerd.com

      regards

  3. By any chance, do you have the excel sheet for the parts used? I checked out the schematic pdf but a couple of them were confusing.
Thank you and keep up the great work

    1. Hi Krista

I’ve just tried to send you the BOM but your email address somehow doesn’t work. So just send me a message with your correct email and I’ll send you the BOM.

  4. Are you selling kits? cause here in the Philippines its very difficult to outsource all those parts. I wish i could build one. Thanks

    1. Hi Clark
Thanks for your question. Currently, I don’t even have boards so I can’t put together any kits. I know, parts are a pain to source in small quantities. There is a chance I will at some point put together a kit but currently, the Solar Charger takes up all my spare time…
